Here is Mom helping her to open the Easter basket. She got a dolly, the peeps, a spring jacket, and a onesey. Sadly, no fake plastic grass.
Here she is in the act of dumping it on the floor.
Here we are as a family with the wee rabbit.
Apprehensive about her Easter outfit or simply saying "read me Jamberry already."
Eleanor's first batch of easter eggs. She did a good job.
Eleanor's first Cheerio experience (well organic Cheerio knockoffs but you get the idea.)
Almost got the Alphabet animals pulled out.
Someone now frequently stands up in the crib and "messes about."
Sporting the wonderful new sweater that Mom made along with her Easter hat.
Playing with her new Lamb dolly from Aunt Bobbie.
Sporting her "easter egg" hat that Amber made.
The cousins all together for their first picture in IC.
It was not a simple process as the final product might indicate.
Eleanor was excited to wear her Hawkeye high tops.
We went bowling early in March at Colonial Lanes... Mom smoked Dad in the first game.
Carrie made me a delicious lemon birthday cake.
Oscar all dolled up from the Yuppy Puppy.
Dressed up in her jailbird/pirate outfit. The shirt says 'Lil Pirate.
Holy crap! The third picture down is a dead ringer for Rob at the same age. Hopefully for her sake it's just a phase...
ReplyDeleteOh goodness. I LOVE that the ears are fuzzy!!! So happy to get to see the bunny ears hat. What a lovely bunny my little niece is!
ReplyDeleteAnd is that sweet hat from MY Amber? Very cute.
I'm glad Eleanor didn't have to grapple with plastic Easter grass. We have some in our baskets that the Easter Bunny seems to keep recycling... every time I see it I think of a story Aunt Jan once told me involving a cat, some Christmas tinsel and pooping.... I'll leave the rest to your imagination.
yeah blog post! eleanor is looking more dashing (and yet still more like her father) every day :) she is lucky to have a mommy and other family and friends that are so talented to make her those beautiful hand-made clothes. cute, cute. are the easter photos from carrie's parents' new townhouse? i LOVE the kitchen. looks like everyone is happy and doing well!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Eleanor has an impressive collection of knitwear :) C, I love the sweater you made her! The Easter Bunny did a good job; what girl doesn't need a set of plush Peeps? Happy Spring. xxoo, s & o
