Well, we're obviously not as good with our blog postings now. We're full time parents after all! Of course, that's not an excuse because Betsy, Brandy and Samantha all keep up with it better than we do but anyway...

Here is a picture of Eleanor with her sweet new wooden snake toy that Oscar chewed to shreds a couple days after she got it. She was trying to do the same thing but due to lack of teeth... well...

Here is Eleanor in the beautiful new high chair that Grandpa Decker made her. She loves it. I rigged it up to have a suspension system with the straps that Dad provided and I made two "permanent" towel rolls to sit on either side of her and hold her in the center.

Aunt Sandy got to spend some quality time with Eleanor recently while she and will were down for Thanksgiving.

Uncle Will as well... I didn't put the picture on here of him picking his nose.

Auntie Betsy as well got to see Eleanor's new Thanksgiving outfit... and the new baby got to "see" her up close.

Here is some of the spread at the B&B in Burlington that Joyce set up for the Thanksgiving meal... it was awesome.

Betsy displayed Henry's birthday present in full effect. It's a Melissa & Doug sandwich making kit. Hopefully Henry will use it in his new kitchen!

Here's Henry pondering something at Thanksgiving... probably why his extended family is so huge.

Alex just smoked her Dad at Twixt.

Here's Eleanor with Dad at the Barnes Tree Farm. Thanksgiving weekend we always go and get a tree. It was windy and cold but a beautiful day.

Mom and E at the tree farm.

Here's a view of some of the tree farm from the truck.

Eleanor got to go in her new winter outfit... she seems to like it.

That weekend she also finally got dressed up for the football game on Sunday. She couldn't bring the team good luck though. The butt of these have a football on them...

Here's most of the setup for the living room with the new tree - a Colorado Blue Spruce.

We jerry-rigged her swing to make it "all Christmasy"

Here's me and E at the entrance to the National Zoo in Washington DC this past weekend.

We got to see the Pandas! Guess what, they were eating bamboo.

Mom had to pose by the Otter statue... cute.

I was most entertained in the Elephant house as I love elephants. Here's the woman watering the Asian elephant. It was so smart and hilarious to watch it listen to her.

This Hippos was HUGE... it was a Nile hippo... very cool.

Outside the entrance to the NMAI... National Museum for the American Indian. Very awesome building/architecture. We didn't spend as much time there as we'd have liked but it was still really neat to go.

Some of the entrance side of the building.

More of the entrance.

Lastly, here's a picture of Eleanor wearing her baptism present (one of them) from Jeff and Amy - her godparents... awesome.
Yeah! I was beginning to worry about you 3 :) Now, I love the photos, but I need the details! Where was that beautiful place you spent Thanksgiving? And what zoo was that? Nory is getting BIG!
ReplyDeleteCould you please make me a print of the Ramones shot? I can't stop smiling!
ReplyDeleteIt took me a few days to check in on this page, but I'm so glad I did! Yay! I love her little bear outfit. And Rob, in the Chief's photo I was thinking she looked like you before I even saw what she was wearing. I'd like to request a butt photo of that outfit please!
ReplyDeleteKeep the comments and pictures coming! I have really, really missed reading what you have to say and seeing more pictures of all of you and your projects and trips and whatever.

ReplyDeletehey, wow, you went to DC? when and why? (and how--did you fly with Eleanor?)
ReplyDeleteOkay, I don't post a lot and obviously I am behind in my blog reading, but you show the cute bear jumper thingy, the sweet Ramones shirt ("I wanna be sedated!"), but you just bypass that bizarre pointy- headed "funfetti" get-up she's got on on?! What gives? I am also thnkful you psoted a pic. of that giant hippo! Now I hope Sarah will stop asking for one "...just to keep in the bathtub."
